Biography

 

Born on the 12th of February, 1950 in Saarland. Married. Living in  Saarland/Germany

 

An important and unusual step in the life of Werner Vogel: To give up his job at the age of 53 years to devote one's life predominantly to the music, the second 'career', was unusual. Besides that, the first career was also pretty good and has created the conditions for all other one. Structural engineer by profession, Werner Vogel succeeded to himself during his 26 occupational years up to a senior project manager. In numerous large-scale projects on all continents of the world Werner Vogel was involved at responsible position in the successful realization of building projects of all kind. The musical 'career' began with 15, with the purchase of his first guitar. And always when somewhere a piano was lying round, it drew him magically. Then with 17 he joined the beat band "Spacemen" - at that time astronautics was announced - and he played the rhythm guitar and performed the French chansons. Then with 20 the German armed forces put an end to the whole, and though during the whole time of study and occupation the guitar was used only in the private area, then, however, always when mood and musical accompaniment, among other things also Frederic Mey was asked. The first piano which Werner Vogel bought with 56 held only 100 days - the wooden frame! Then short time later the second, but new piano followed, also in bright lustre polished black, because of the inspiration. Then to the composition it was not far: The notation software - actually, thought to the support while learning the piano play - was suited very well to the composition. The uppermost aim was and still today is about to create absolutely new, tuneful and soulful classical music. Now and then appeared that out of this absolutely also ideas arose for pop and rock music etc. Munich with his architecture, his parks and rich cultural offer as a main residence, occasionally over and over again for some time on the country, the umpteen-fold impressions from numerous trips in all countries and sceneries served to create in 6 years to nearly100 compositions, of course predominantly settled in the classical genre.

 

This still allows to expect something, hopefully.
